JCC ShalomNet is dedicated to connecting seniors to the world and putting the Internet at their fingertips. It is a unique program, providing successfully tested educational opportunities for seniors to learn how to use computers and access the wealth of information available on the Internet, and in the Jewish community of Cincinnati.
 The mission of JCC ShalomNet is not only to provide seniors with a healthy lifestyle by offering a socialization program, but to also build a "virtual community" where seniors meet other people and encourage them to exchange ideas, opinions, experiences and knowledge.
JCC ShalomNet accomplishes this by helping the seniors to cross "the digital divide" by giving them basic computer, Internet and email skills. These new skills encourage them to socialize and interact with their e-pals, their peers and family members on a whole new level of communication, opening a new world to them with: click, connect, communicate.
